Taekwondo is an ancient Korean art of self-defense, but it is also a team sport and one of the official sports of the Olympics. Taekwondo helps students develop strength, flexibility, coordination and endurance. Classes include physical exercise, strengthening, drills, and safe sparring. Taekwondo is an
Taekwondo students have Olympic dreams. We practice the same style of competitive Taekwondo that is endorsed by USATaekwodno School; the U.S. National Governing Body for the Olympic sport of Taekwondo, which is recognized by the United States Olympic Committee (USOC) and member of the World Taekwondo Federation (WTF).
We train our players to compete and win at state, regional and National tournaments. For competitors, they may be competitive on a national level starting at 14 years old. Success at this age division can lead to athletes earning a spot on the USA Taekwondo Junior National Team and AAU Junior National Team.
